Parts Doll (http://www.partsdoll.com)
Rob's Cycle Supply was looking for a new way to showcase their product that was unique to the industry and the 4 types of riders out there. So they created Parts Doll, which consists of 4 girls to each represent an atmosphere, style of a rider, and their bike. You have Chrystal Chrome (the 'Barbie), Scarlett Diablo (the 'chopper'), Bella Burnout (the 'female rider') and Roxy Racer (the 'vintage').

On the Parts Doll site, you get an interactive experience to learn about the bike for that style, and the parts and accessories that go with it. Then you have the opportunity to go to the Rob's Cycle Supply site to purchase those items. The called out parts will be rotating over time to target new areas on the bike for riders to learn about and purchase.

Glen Sanders Mansion (http://www.glensandersmansion.com)
Class, elegance, luxury, culinary at it's best. There's no way to describe the Glen Sanders Mansion in one word. This historical landmark provides the ultimate unique atmosphere for your wedding or special event, classic yet modern suites to get away, and five star dining.

To capture all the services the Glen Sanders Mansion has to offer took a lot of research and refinement. The end result is a unique website that lets you experience visually and interactively the service you are specifically interested in. Book your weekend getaway at the inn, reserve a quiet table in the corner for dinner, or fill out an inquiry about your upcoming wedding day or business/social event. The Glen Sanders Mansion can accommodate all your needs.

Brayton Wins 4 Albany Ad Club ADDYs

3.16.12 - It's the one time of the year all the firms in the Capital Region look forward too. From print to web, radio to TV, self promotion to student work - The Albany Ad Club ADDYs! The evening is filled with the best of the best in the industry, and the work to match.

Now some of you may be asking: 'What's an ADDY?' You may recognize the name from past years, the NORI's. Going into 2012, the NORI's were no more, and the ADDYs were the new kid on the block. The Albany Ad Club has rejoined the premier competition for advertising excellence conducted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). It means all creatives now compete on local, regional and national stages in the industry's largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.

Unlike the NORI's when there was one winner per category, the ADDYs mixed things up, and winners are now separated by Gold and Silver levels. Otherwise, the evening was similar to past years – enjoying good conversation and good food with fellow peers and talking about 2011's great accomplishments.

At the end of the night, the team here at Brayton were thrilled to bring home four Silver ADDYs for our client work in 2011!

Brayton Graphics is Making Moves

9.30.11 – Brayton Graphics, a local graphic design and web development firm based in Downtown Schenectady, has spent 5 years working with some of the top industry leaders in the Capital District. 2012 will see the greatest expansion the company has seen yet.

To start a small business is a risk for anyone, let alone in a recession. In November 2006, Elizabeth Delos, owner of Brayton Graphics, took that challenge head on with the goal to create a firm that was completely different from the 'norm', and offer unique perspectives into their client's businesses.

While the past 5 years have brought great success to the company, today Brayton Graphics is positioning itself to be one of the top creative firms in the Capital Region. Recently rebranded, the company is going into 2012 with new goals, clientele and an expanded office. With the expansion at their current 30 Jay Street home, it allows their team to grow and accommodate for their client needs more efficiently and creatively.

Brayton's new look and new website showcase their style, creative capabilities, and personalities. With their custom designs, and custom application programming, it's what allows them to let their clients such as Mazzone Hospitality, Coccadotts Cake Shop and Ed Lewi Associates stand out as one-of-a-kind companies.

There is a lot Brayton has accomplished over the past 5 years, and the company is very enthusiastic about the many more ahead. But, before getting there, they are taking a minute to celebrate their 5-Year anniversary in November, by hosting a cocktail party to say 'Thank You' to their clients, family, and friends.

Brayton Graphics is a company with a lot of spunk, dedication, creativity, determination, and they simply love what they do. At the end of the day, that's the perfect concoction for a successful firm.

Hurricane Irene Relief Donation Drop Off

9.6.11 – It has been just over a week since Hurricane Irene made her mark in the Capital Region and surrounding areas. Some homes and businesses went unaffected by this storm, others lost everything.

Brayton Graphics wanted to reach out and help in anyway possible for the victims of Hurricane Irene, and we noticed a lot of our friends, colleagues and family wanted to help as well, but weren't sure how. As of last week, we started a collection drop at our 30 Jay Street office to accept donations.

We are accepting nonperishable food, water, canned goods, baby food, diapers, sample-size toiletries, anything you think you would need if you lost everything.

Every little bit counts and anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated by those who have lost something because of Irene.

We are accepting these donations the rest of this week during business hours, then will be dropping everything off for United Way to distribute throughout the disaster areas.

Need to find us?
30 Jay Street, Schenectady

When can you drop off goods?
Monday - Friday; 9-5

From everyone here at Brayton Graphics, and on behalf of those to receive these goods, THANK YOU!

Brayton Gets a Facelift!

9.1.11 – During the summer months we picked away at what would be our new fresh look to wrap up 2011, and to celebrate our 5 year anniversary! In mid-August we started to release bits and pieces, so you may have noticed things start to change.

To celebrate going into our 5th year in business, we are growing with the times and released a new, fresh version of our previous logo. However, keeping the same color and font use, we are still the Brayton you always knew.

Next we released our brand new website! Keeping our quirky humor throughout all the content, you can get to know the team, read about the company, and best of all, check out our showcase of all our websites, marketing, and identity that we have completed for our clients.

A shout out to the team at Brayton for contributing to the new look - Our Designer, Josh Cookfair, is the eye and humor behind a lot of what you will see. Our Front End Developer, Seth Louey, is the other half of the humor, and the talent behind every ones personalized illustrations on the BG BUNCH page. Last but not least, Seth Louey and our Senior Developer, Josh Shea, were the masterminds behind making the design come to life.

The best way to get the full experience is to visit the site... so go on, what are you waiting for? Click the link!

The Web Just Got Sweeter

8.17.11 – July and August gave the crew at Brayton Graphics quite the sweet tooth, when we got approached to design and develop the new website for the Capital Region's favorite bakery, Coccadotts Cake Shop.

A fresh new look with a full product photo gallery, and flavor listing is just what they needed as they start to expand the bakery to their second location!

But that's not it... Stay tunned in the fall as we release the second phase of the site, full online ordering for your favorite flavors, or make your own!

So go ahead, check out the new look, just try not to drool on your keyboard.

6.1.11 – April and May were a busy time for the Brayton team – so busy that we are splitting all our new website launches into 2 emails this month! This first email spotlights three companies who's products are nothing alike, but all share a fresh new website :: Fleet Feet Albany, H2Pump, and Prima Pizza.

Learn a little about these three businesses!

Brayton launches new site for Dino Petrocelli Photography

1.31.11 – Friday marked the launch of local photographer, Dino Petrocelli's, new and improved website. The site, aside from having an innovative new look and a user-friendly interface, also has a new domain name-

www.dinopetrocelliphoto.com

Dino Petrocelli is an amazing professional photographer specializing in weddings, commercial shoots, and the auto and motorcycle industries. His client base is as diverse as his skill set — he can be found shooting everything from the most elegant weddings to covers of top national motorcycle magazines. For Dino, we knew it was essential to design a site that would highlight his diversity, his unique style and, most importantly, his professionalism.

The new website is a full CMS, giving Dino the power to manage the photos himself — updating them frequently to highlight his newest projects. Complete with a full-year calendar, the new site also lets brides and grooms immediately check Dino's availability for their wedding date. Super user-friendly, convenient and effective, the site also offers viewers a glimpse into the world of Dino's work through video links.

Whatever your photography needs are—wedding, portrait, head shots, motorcycle, car, boat, product, studio rental, etc—after browsing this site you will be certain that Dino Petrocelli is the photographer you need!

Brayton Graphics was featured in the Times Union

10.4.10 – Brayton Graphics was featured in the Sunday Times Union for the hiring of our new Senior Web Developer through Social Media!

When it came to hiring the newest member of the Brayton Graphics team, we turned to social media - it only made the most sense for the position we were hiring for, a Senior Web Developer. After many great candidates, we narrowed it down to the best, Josh Shea. And for those of you familiar with our team already, yes, this now means we have 2 Josh's in the office!

Josh has an extensive background of development and application programming skills and has the ability to execute any level site or program. We were thrilled to bring Josh on board, and were even more ecstatic when we got a call from the Albany Times Union wanting to feature us in their article for using social media to hire employees. Both Josh and Liz got to talk with the writer, Kristi Gustafson, and share their thoughts on why social media was a benefit on both ends of the hiring process. Once all was said and done, and the Sunday paper came out, there they were, right on the front page! Read the full article :: http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Increasingly-companies-hire-only-by-social-media-685160.php

So not only are we pleased to announce the hiring of our new Senior Web Developer, Josh Shea, we are so very excited to share with you our article and hope it sheds a new light on social media for you!
